The places we remember often come with someone’s voice

A friend who knows where to eat, a host who points out a lovely walk, someone who has lived in the city for years. PinTips gives these recommendations a home and helps them reach the people who need them.

Why we’re building PinTips

Some places stay with you because of the person who introduced you to them. A café a friend recommended, a walk suggested by someone who lives nearby, a restaurant you would return to. Those recommendations carry something personal that can get lost in chats and screenshots. PinTips exists to keep that connection between a place and what someone can tell you about it.

What you can do today

With PinTips, you collect your places on personal maps, add photos and write what you want to remember or recommend. You can plan a trip, share your neighbourhood or give guests the tips you would offer in person. When you’re ready to share, send a link or a QR code: anyone receiving the map can open it in their browser without an account.

We're building a network of saved places.

A way to find places through the people who recommend them. Maps that keep a point of view. Advice worth taking with you.

This is where PinTips is heading. A mobile app and social features such as feeds, followers and reactions are part of that future. They aren't available today.
