Share the places that make you love your city

The café that knows your order, the table to ask for, the sunset walk. Put your places on a map and share advice people can come back to.

The detail that makes a recommendation

A name helps someone find a place. Your note helps them choose: “the terrace is quiet in the morning”, “this is what I always order”. When you update a tip, people opening the same map see the latest version.

  1. 1

    Put your places in

The trattoria, the bar with the good coffee, the trail, the bookshop. Ten is enough to start.

  2. 2

    Explain why you return

One sentence per place, the one you would say on the phone. If you have a photo of your own, use it: that is what convinces people.

  3. 3

    Answer with the link

Next time they ask, you send the link. If a place closes you remove it, and whoever already has the map sees it updated.

Your neighbourhood, through your eyes

You don’t need to cover the whole city. Pick the places you return to and share the small detail you wish you had known before your first visit.

Three details beyond a list of names

Illustrative example. These places and tips show what you can create; they are not verified recommendations.
  1. The bookshop

Ask at the counter for books by local authors.

  2. The café on the square

The table at the back is the quietest spot to read.

  3. The neighbourhood cinema

Check the programme on its website before heading over.
